I was a returnee child. I entered an elementary school first grade 2nd period.
Up to 3rd. grade, I did not attend the class because I could not understand the lessons.
One day, my mother bought Manga with ruby to kanji. I read so many times Manga and learned how to read kanji. It took 2 years.
I had asthma and frequently absent from school. At that time, radio reading gave me many fans.
I moved to the very local place in Fukushima. There was no bookshop and my parents were gone to a foreign country.
Instead of Manga, I started reading books in school library. One book averagely contained 400pages.
I’ve read one book a day. I might be a type disease. My disease continued until 18 years old.
As my duty, I wrote a letter to my mother once a week. She replied to me also. It was a good custom to me.
As my exceptions, I should learn the grammar of ancient Japanese a little. At that time, I read the original ancient book. It was quite easy to understand but the common sense at that time was different one I had. It was quite interesting to know different common sense.
We learn Chinese writing at senior high school. In that lesson, a teacher taught Chinese writing points. However, without them, I was easy the original. Of course, I did not know pronunciation but as far as meaning, it was easy. Some kanji disturbed reading but could solve by a dictionary.
What was I would like to say, reading books is be the best solution of the grammar.
