difficult kanji

These 2 kanji resembles each other.
But different pronounce and meaning.
鬼 oni / devil and another(hereafter Kami) is kami / god.
In 古史古伝 Ancient history ancient biography, there is a famous book 九鬼文書.
九鬼文書 (kuki bunsho is not correct pronounce but kuki monjo is partly ok but correct pronouns is くかみもんじょ kukami monjo.
In 1336,後醍醐天皇（ごたいごてんのう） escaped rom Kyoto to Yoshino, one of samurai group named 薬師丸隆真　helped him. The leader was so strong and 後醍醐天皇 gave a name 九鬼.
At this time, 後醍醐天皇 used Kami not 鬼.

この２つの漢字、似ていますが違います。鬼は今でも使われていますが、もう１つは今の漢字にはありませんが、カミと呼び神の意味です。１３３６年、後醍醐天皇が足利尊氏に追われ京都花山院から吉野に逃れる途中、藤原南家の子孫、薬師丸隆真に助けられました。天皇は隆真の武功を讃え、九鬼（くかみ）という名を贈りました。（かみの漢字はKami）でしたが、この漢字、余り使われなくなり鬼に変わりました。
